Description: A brave Serco binman has been hailed a hero after rescuing two people and a dog from a house fire in Tipton. Steve Whitehouse was on his round with driver Kevin Marriott when they spotted the blaze. Heclimbed up a wall onto the balcony to reach a screaming woman as the flames took hold.<br/><br/>The government has announced major upgrades for train services in Birmingham. The project has been made possible through reallocated HS2 funding. One of these upgrades will include the Cross-City line seeing trains every ten minutes.<br/><br/>Popular canalside bar The Brasshouse is set to reopen after its £304,000 investment. The huge investment has seen the front and back bar and cocktail bar revamped and there is more seating outside so that guests can enjoy the waterfront views.
