This is the moment Roy Keane allegedly elbowed an Arsenal fan's nose in a fracas just moments after the former Manchester United footballer was 'headbutted'.

Scott Law, 43, of Waltham Abbey, Essex, has pleaded not guilty to assault by beating over the incident at a Premier League match at Emirates Stadium last September.

Chaos ensured towards the end of Arsenal's 3-1 victory over Manchester United, where ex-Ireland international Keane was working as a pundit for Sky Sports.

Keane told Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court yesterday that he was left 'in shock' after being allegedly 'headbutted' backward through doors during the match.

But Law has claimed he was rushing to the toilet, and was using his head in self-defense after Keane came at him and repeatedly called him a 'fatty'.

Law added that Keane's reputation as a violent 'hard man' meant he feared attack – and his legal team, who provided enhanced CCTV evidence, said Keane threw an 'uppercut elbow' at Law's nose, reported the Evening Standard.

Charles Sherrard KC, defending, told Keane: 'You chose to confront him. When you saw him, you said 'Say it to my face you face But Keane denied this.

The clip also showed Keane's colleague Micah Richards grabbing hold of Law before letting him go. The court was told Richards said: 'Are you crazy? Are you mad? Say sorry.

Richards was also alleged to have said later: 'Someone needs to arrest him, he's just assaulted Roy Keane, don't let him go.'

Earlier yesterday, Keane, 52, told the court that the incident happened when he and fellow Sky pundit Richards were walking down for the final match analysis.

'There was lots of noise and shouting, as you would expect at a football match,' he said. 'I was just walking and, before I knew it, I was hit. I felt the contact and fell back through some doors.

'I was not expecting it. The only way I can describe it is that I was in shock. I didn't expect it to happen, not when I was in my workplace.'

Footage was posted on social media of Richards stepping in to calm an apparent confrontation.

On this, Mr Keane told the court: 'Micah then gets hold of someone. He was just trying to get a grip of him and make sure he didn't run off.

'I was saying 'Call the police'. For about 15 or 20 seconds Micah was holding him up against a wall (to stop) him getting away.'

Law then fled the scene after Mr Richards lost his grip, the court heard, before the two pundits headed pitch-side to give their post-match analysis.

Mr Keane added: 'We missed the final two goals but that was the least of my worries.'

He claims to have suffered bruising on his chest and arms as a result of the incident.

A video played to the court showed Law, an Arsenal fan, turning to the Sky Sports broadcast box after VAR ruled out a goal for Manchester United.

He then appeared to leave his seat before making his way to the club level, where he crossed paths with Mr Keane.

A homeowner has told of his shock after watching a suspected meteorite burst through the sky and land next to his property.

Dan Charlton was standing in his back garden in the early hours of the morning when he saw a green light and heard a “whoosh” as the object plummeted to earth.

And the next day, he discovered a small charred rock lying in a street close to his home, in Wakefield, West Yorks, that was “warm and smelt burnt.”

Dan said: “I went outside and looked up and saw this light and thought, ‘Is that a firework?’

“It was really close. It came down in a straight line and what was interesting was it had a green flame, like a hue, that burnt and then disappeared.

“You could hear it make a brief ‘whoosh’ sound and then I was expecting a big bang but it was just silent.

\

A lack of investment by Pembrokeshire County Council towards maintaining Tenby’s harbour has been labelled ‘criminal’ by one of the seaside town’s county councillors - leading to parts of the ‘picturesque’ area becoming an ‘eyesore’.
In taking aim at the Local Authority’s lack of ongoing TLC for the harbour, county councillor for Tenby’s North Ward Cllr Michael Williams has sent correspondence to PCC’s streetcare manager Marc Owen calling once again for urgent improvements to the area.
Cllr Williams has long called for work to be carried out, especially to some of the historic arches and garages along Penniless Cove Hill that lead all the way down.
“When will the eyesores of these arches be addressed? They now are an awful blot on the harbour and need urgent attention,” stated Cllr Williams, who also called for the ‘rundown’ looking shelters in the gardens above to be removed.
Some years ago, Tenby Civic Society expressed concern at the condition and appearance of the doors in some of the arches, stating that they were ‘clearly ripe’ for an upgrading project.
“Tenby harbour has totally lacked any real capital investment for many years, and yet we see a continuing rise in fees for users,” continued Cllr Williams.
“I have asked Officers and the Cabinet Member to look again at installing a usable gate on the sluice. Currently it is a waste of space, and if an access is provided could be a catalyst for a major improvement offering safety to vessels in bad weather and an ideal mooring for visiting yachts.”
Works to make the sluice more 'user-friendly' were given the thumbs up by town councillors prior to Covid, with members told of an application from PCC for the replacement of stop logs with sluice control, which would ‘protect and enhance’ the area, as improving the amenity of the harbour.
However, £128,000 of funding from Welsh Government earmarked to carry out improvements seemingly slipped through the net, and the plans never came to fruition.
A recent meeting of Tenby Harbour User's Association, hinted that such plans could be revisited, and that the organisation would provide PCC with all relevant paperwork to start the process of looking for new sources of funding to pursue.
“This harbour is a listed building and deserves enhancement from an aesthetic and financial point of view. It should be noted that the failure maintain a listed building is a criminal offence,” added Cllr Williams.
The titular team in The Marvels is a group that comes together totally by accident. Thanks to a cosmic anomaly, Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, Teyonnah Parris’ Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan find their special light-based powers entangled, and they are basically forced to unite in order to stop what’s causing it. Accidental as the ensemble may be, however, what’s cool about the special unit is the way in which it allows the film to play with very different perspectives on the heroic Captain Marvel.

On one hand, Monica has essentially been neglected by her aunt for the last 30 years, and on the other hand, Kamala is a superfan who dreams of being besties with Carol. It’s a special dynamic, and I brought it up this past weekend when I had the chance to sit down with director Nia DaCosta at the Los Angeles press day for The Marvels. I asked about the impact of the special relationships within the eponymous unit.
